This service is not installed by default. You can add or remove this service by heading to:- Head to Start
- Select Control Panel
- Select Programs
- Select Programs and Features
- Select Turn Windows Features on or off
- Check or Uncheck RIP Listener

However, after the installation of Service Pack 2, if needed, you may install it later by heading to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components > Select "Networking Services" > Details button > Check "RIP Listener ". If you do not know what RIP protocol is, you do not need this service installed. :)Default Startup Type
